The Venice Film Festival is the pinnacle of all the Film Festivals globally, previewing all the latest films and documentaries from countries all over the world.

The Venice Film Festival always takes place between the end of August and the first half of September. This makes the best out of the last, warm days of Summer. These are even more enjoyable when spent on a gondola for the festival. Comandante, directed by Edoardo De Angelis, starring Pierfrancesco Favino, is the new opening film, a world premiere in Competition, of the 81st Venice International Film Festival of La Biennale di Venezia, directed by Alberto Barbera
