Do you remember the Top Gear episode where James May drives a volcano-proof 4×4 across the Icelandic tundra? Well we’re giving you the chance to do the same trip…in style!
Pick up your own giant 4 x 4 Toyota Hilux in Reykjavik, only a 2.5 hour flight from London and follow our experienced expedition leader as we drive through rivers, over mountains and round an abandoned plane in the middle of the ‘Black Desert’ with a stay at a luxury boutique hotel deep in the wilderness thrown in.
Our Rally with a difference will see challenges such as driving up an active volcano and Iceland’s second highest mountain road to the Langjokull glacier with a fun runabout on snowmobiles waiting for us there.
To keep us fuelled to the finish some stunning traditional dinners are laid on along with a lobster buffet at one of the premiere restaurants in the country before our last night in Reykjavik to party hard. On our travels we hope to catch the captivating but sometimes illusive Northern Lights.
This is The Icelandic Adventure that encompasses all that this brutal but stunning country can throw at you, with our own luxurious twists thrown in. This is the very definition of a once in a lifetime trip.
